Laththi Movie Story
The story of Laththi is about police constable Muruganantham (Vishal), a laththi specialist, who gets suspended after he hits an innocent Vellai unaware that he is the son of a notorious don. Once he is reinstated, he must find a way to save his family and himself.
Vishal is convincing as a police constable in the film and he does a good job of portraying the character’s vulnerability. He carries the film with his strong performances and the action sequences too are impressive.

In the first half, there are few interesting conflicts that help to keep us hooked. The hero Muruganantham (Vishal), who gets suspended for a year after accusing a woman of rape, goes back to his job and gets beaten up by an influential person. But he regains his innocence and is given a chance to get back into the police force.
Then again, he gets suspended again. This time he gets into trouble with a gangster and his son. They threaten to put his 10-year-old son in danger and he has to fight them. But what happens next is a disaster for his family.
It has some good stunts and a few nice action sequences, but overall, the film is a disappointment. There is not enough emotional quotient in the movie and the second half drags on forever.
