Gumrah Movie Story
A police officer (Mrunal Thakur) and her assistant (Vedika) investigate a homicide case in an upmarket neighborhood of Delhi. They quickly come across a selfie that captures the killer’s full face.
Gumrah movie story is based on the same plot as the Tamil film Thadam. The Bollywood remake of the Tamil hit, directed by Vardhan Ketkar, is a fairly decent murder mystery with lots of twists and turns.
The plot starts off with a man who is stabbed to death wearing a yellow hoodie that does little to hide his face. The police officers scurry to identify the culprit, and they soon realise that it is the same man who has been in their selfies.
Despite some flaws, Gumrah is an interesting crime thriller that has plenty of twists and turns to keep you engaged throughout the narrative. The second half is especially gripping, thanks to a really creepy flashback that takes us into the past of one of the characters.

Gumrah is an engaging, racy movie with a lot of twists and turns. It is a must-watch for those who love crime thrillers.
Performance-wise, Sridevi has a great role and delivers a convincing performance as an innocent girl. Sanjay Dutt and Anupam Kher are also good in their respective roles.
The chemistry between the two actors is good and they make a great team. Vedika Pinto as Arjun Saigal’s love interest and Deepak Kalra as Sooraj’s quick friend Chaddi are also worth mentioning.
The movie is based on true events and a slew of believe-it-or-not cases are listed at the end. This makes the whole thing more interesting and intriguing as it gives a shiver down your spine.
