Gaslight Movie Story
The Gaslight movie story centers on a woman who returns to her home in the outskirts of Gujarat to find her father after a long gap. She is greeted by her stepmother and other family members, but she can’t locate her father.
After a while, she notices some unusual things happening in her home. She starts to notice missing objects, nocturnal footsteps and gaslights that dim without her touching them.
Initially she isn’t sure whether these are real or not. However, she slowly loses her perception of reality and becomes a victim of Gaslight.

Gaslight Movie Review
The movie is also a good example of how a simple premise can be exploited to create a powerful drama and a compelling mystery. The spooky palaces, lonely girl, notorious family members and buried truth all make for an engaging thriller.
Gaslight is a solid whodunit with some sharp twists that makes it an interesting watch, but its pacing is terrible. There are a few jump scares that give away the story more than they are supposed to, and some characters have more to do than their screen time allows them to.
Sara Ali Khan and Vikrant Massey are well-known to audiences for their acting chops, but Gaslight fails to give them many opportunities to show off their potential. It is a fine movie to watch, but not as good as some of the other Bollywood films in this genre.
